French Dip Sammies

    These tasty French dip sammies are loaded with roast beef, Swiss cheese and seasoned with a bit of oregano then baked in the oven. Served with French onion soup for dipping.

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 rolls, cut in half
    • 200g sliced roast beef
    • 4 slices Swiss cheese
    • oregano, to taste
    • 4 teaspoons butter
    • 1 cup prepared au jus or French onion soup

    Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. On a baking tray lay the halved rolls open. On one side of each, layer on the roast beef then the Swiss Cheese then sprinkle with oregano. Butter the other side.
    3. Bake in preheated oven until hot though, then serve with the jus or soup for dipping.
