Thyme Muesli Patties

    These veggie burger patties are made out of muesli and onion. Seasoned with thyme and parsley then crumbed and fried in hot oil. They are also great on the BBQ.

    Serves: 2 

    • 3/4 cup water, boiling
    • 2 cups muesli
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
    • 1 small onion, diced
    • 1/2 teaspoon parsley
    • 1 egg beaten
    • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
    • oil, for frying

    1. Pour water over the muesli, so it is just moist. Add salt, pepper, onion, seasoning and beaten egg. Dip in the bread crumbs.
    2. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high, then fry rissoles until golden brown on both sides.
