- 1 cup (250g) butter
- 1 cup (220g) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups (500g) flour
- 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar

- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
- Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs. Stir together flour, bicarb soda and cream of tartar. Combine the wet and dry mixtures.
- Roll out thin, cut into biscuits, then bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.
