Cabbage cooked in garlic and ginger then seasoned with a dash of salt makes a delicious side dish to almost any meal. So simple, easy and fast. Enjoy.

Serves: 4 

  • 2 teaspoons copha
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed and chopped
  • small amount of ginger, crushed and chopped
  • 1 cabbage, cut up
  • salt, to taste

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Heat copha, add garlic and ginger, when hot add cabbage. Braise for a few minutes, add salt and just enough water to prevent burning. Cook gently with lid partly off for just 3 minutes.


Copha is a vegetable fat. It is marked in New Zealand at Kremelta(TM).
