This old fashioned vegetarian spaghetti mould recipe has been passed down though the generations. It has milk, breadcrumbs, onion and eggs all steamed with spaghetti.

Serves: 4 

  • 1 cup spaghetti
  • 1 cup milk, boiled
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons ground nuts
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 onion, grated
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Cook spaghetti according to packet directions then drain. Stir breadcrumbs into milk. Combine all ingredients, place into a mould then steam until done, about 2 hours.
