This vegan meat substitute can be used anywhere, from meat pies to rissoles to whatever you like. Make this then use in it place of meat in almost any recipe to make it vegan.

The Walters

Serves: 2 

  • 2 tablespoons nut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons cold water
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons gluten
  • 2 tablespoons muesli
  • 2 Weet-Bix(TM), crushed then mixed into a thick paste with water

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:4hours  ›  Ready in:4hours15min 

  1. Combine nut butter, salt and cold water to make a cream. Combine this with the rest of the ingredients. Steam in a double boiler or a pudding basin, for 4 hours.
