    This recipe is for pussy cat cupcakes, they are a great recipe for Halloween, for a themed birthday party or just someone who loves cats.

    Ingredients
    Makes: 12 cupcakes

    • 1/2 cup soft butter
    • 1 1/4 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 3/4 cup flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    • 1/4 taespoon salt
    • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • Decoration
    • chocolate icing
    • liquorice stips
    • yellow worm
    • chocolate sprinkles

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a muffin tin with patty pans. Sift the dry ingredients.
    2. In the bowl of an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    3. Sift the dry ingredients. Alternate adding the flour and milk until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared muffin tin, fill to about 3/4 full.
    4. Bake for about 20-30 minutes depending on the size of your muffin tins.
    5. Decoration: Cut the top of your cupcakes to use for the ears. Ice your cupcakes with chocolate icing. Dip the cupcake into the chocolate sprinkles.
    6. Cut the worm to make eyes for cat cupcake. Place the liquorice strips on as whiskers. Use a black jelly bean or cut liquorice for a nose shape. Cut the previously cut cupcake top into quarters and arrange as ears.
