This cream sago pudding is very basic but still very delicious. Milk, sago, eggs, sugar and vanilla combined make this creamy dessert. Enjoy.

Serves: 4 

  • 480ml milk
  • 1/2 cup sago (small)
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 cup suagar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Cook sago in milk, stirring so as it won't burn. In a bowl, combine egg and sugar. Stir into milk and sago than add vanilla. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring all the time.

Love Sago Custard. Childhood favourite that lives on and on. Made this recipe with only one egg and Stevia rather than sugar and a nutmeg sprinkle on top. Also soaked sago in milk prior to using for minimum 30 minutes. Cooks much more quickly then. - 22 Jan 2015
