    This easy cream of tomato soup has milk, salt, butter and tomato puree. So simple and yet so delicious. Enjoy with crusty bread or cheese toasties.

    Serves: 10 

    • 16 cups (4 litres) milk
    • salt, to taste
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 8 cups tomato puree

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:1hour  ›  Ready in:1hour10min 

    1. Heat the milk and thicken to the consistancy of thick cream. Add salt and butter.
    2. In a separate saucepan, heat tomato puree and very gradually add it to the thickened milk. (This prevents curdling.)
