In a large bowl, mix together the honey, sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce. Set aside a small dish of the marinade for basting. Place chicken drumsticks into the bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Preheat barbecue for medium high heat.
Lightly oil the barbecue cooking grate. Arrange drumsticks on the grate and cook for 10 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Baste frequently with the reserved sauce during the last 5 minutes.
Made it vegetarian.
This chicken turned out really good tonight! I didn't have time to create the marinade and let it set. So, we just brushed the chicken with the sauce and it was just fine. - 29 Sep 2008
This is a great recipe, and extremely easy to prepare. The time to maridande is key, so plan ahead for this one. Worked just great on my indoor electric barbecue. - 29 Sep 2008
I didn't alter the recipe. Marinated overnight, on day of BBQ-ing, I left it out of the fridge to get within room temperature. I cooked on the grill using a Webber BBQ.
I left the skin on. They were great. We had them just on their own. - 16 Nov 2016
