Mulled Cinnamon Wine

    Mulled wine is a great drink for adults, it has a lovely rich flavour which is accented with cloves and cinnamon. This recipe is best served warm.

    Serves: 8 

    • 2 bottles dry red wine
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) port or brandy
    • 12 whole cloves
    • 6 cinnamon sticks
    • 1 large orange, zested

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer. Do not boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve in a punch bowl or you can lave it on a very low heat on the stove.
