Altered ingredient amounts. I also modified the recipe somewhat by taking out 1/2 the soy sauce, and adding some ketchup, more pineapple juice and a little more ginger. Altered ingredient amounts. This recipe deserves 5 stars and I'd give more if I could. My pickiest son even loved this. I took others suggestions and doubled the sauce and kept the soy sauce the same amt. I also added a heaping tablespoon of ketchup to give it that reddish colour you see at restaurants. excellent recipe. I also used fresh ginger and added some celery as well. highly recommend this lovely meal, I shared it with 6 friends, they all wanted the recipe. I also added a pinch of piri piri , just to give it a little kick. - 25 Feb 2012
