This is a Swedish bread which is called 'limpa.' You can also use wholemeal flour if you can't find rye flour or don't like it.

Good texture but, without salt, very bland, despite the spices. Was it intentional to omit the salt? I made a second loaf, plus 2 teaspoons of salt and thought it a huge improvement. - 24 Sep 2013
I've tried other recipes here and this is the best of the best. Makes for a very yummy whole grain type bread with everything you need for nutrition not to mention a great taste. Takes a little time, but its worth it. Made it with as is ingredients, I like the wholemeal instead of rye. - 08 Oct 2008
