Chocolate and Honey Crispies

    These crispies are my favourite childhood recipe. My mum used to make me these for every birthday party and even at get togethers. They're great to make with kids and safe too. This recipe only contains 4 ingrediants and requires no baking. It's very quick to make and I guarantee you and kids will love them.

    Serves: 8 

    • 200g milk chocolate (cooking chocolate is fine)
    • 50g butter
    • 4 tablespoons runny honey
    • 75g cornflakes

    Preparation:15min  ›  Extra time:1hour chilling  ›  Ready in:1hour15min 

    1. Place 8 paper cake cases into a cupcake tin.
    2. Break the chocolate into peices and place into a large bowl. Add in butter and honey. Put the bowl into a microwave and heat until the chocolate has melted.
    3. Stir in the cornflakes until fully covered. Be careful not to break too many of the cornflakes.
    4. Spoon into the cases and place into the fridge until set and crispy. (Preferably 1-2 hours)


    This recipe makes 8. I recommend doubling the recipe if serving more people.
