This easy pesto yoghurt chicken is marinated in Greek yoghurt, pesto rosso sauce, cayenne pepper, basil and red chilli then barbecued until tender inside.


Serves: 8 

  • 100g plain Greek yoghurt
  • 1 jar (200g) Barilla Pesto Rosso(TM)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 5 sprigs basil, chopped
  • 1 red chilli, chopped
  • 8 chicken breast fillets

Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Extra time:1hour marinating  ›  Ready in:1hour25min 

  1. Combine yoghurt, pesto rosso, cayenne, basil and red chilli. Add in chicken then marinate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Preheat barbecue then lightly oil the grate. Remove chicken and shake off excess marinade. Barbecue, turning occasionally until no longer pink in the centre and juices run clear, about 15 minutes.
