Quick and easy poached eggs are a kiwi mainstay. Gotta have poached eggs on toast. Just pop an egg in a bit of boiling water then simmer till done.

Serves: 2 

  • 4 eggs
  • water
  • salt, to taste

Preparation:2min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Ready in:4min 

  1. Bring water to a simmer in a frying pan then add a pinch of salt. Crack egg into a small dish then quickly pour it into the water. Let cook for about 2 minutes or until done. Serve on toast.
