Bedouin Tea

    This Middle Eastern tea has black tea, lemongrass, thyme, mint and after it is steeped, sugar is added if desired.

    Serves: 6 

    • 6 cups water
    • 4 bags black tea
    • 1/4 cup lemongrass
    • 1/4 cup thyme
    • 1/4 cup mint
    • sugar, to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

    1. In the water, boil the lemongrass, thyme and mint leaves. Once the water is boiling add the black tea. Steep for 5 minutes then add sugar to taste.

    Surprisingly a smooth mix of flavours. I used dried lemon grass but fresh thyme and mint. It's nice both cold or hot. Thank you for the recipe.  -  16 Oct 2015
