One Cup Quiche

    This easy one cup quiche is so easy, just add a cup of each: flour, bacon, cheese and milk. Add onion and tomato to taste then bake until set. Easy peasy.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1 cup self raising flour
    • 1 cup bacon pieces
    • 1 cup cheese, grated
    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 small onion, finely diced
    • 5 eggs
    • parsley, to taste
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 tomato, thinly sliced

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:50min  ›  Ready in:1hour 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Mix together flour, bacon bits, cheese, milk, onion, eggs, parsley, salt and pepper.
    2. Oil a round pie dish then pour in mixture. Place the tomatoes on the top in a pattern.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, until cooked through.

    I didn't saute the bacon and onion before, just threw it all in, along with some capsicum, and used some other herbs. Tasted great. very easy  -  09 Jul 2016


    I presumed that the bacon and onion would need to be sauteed first, although it doesn't say so. Anyway, I did so, which added to the cooking time. Also added some spring onion and spinach instead of the parsley. It was easy to make, easy to cut, and easy to eat.  -  13 Aug 2013
