Chocolate Weet-Bix Biscuits

    These Weet-Bix biscuits are a lot like Afghans. Baked with butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, flour and crushed Weet-Bix then iced with your favourite chocolate icing.

    Makes: 12 

    • 190g butter
    • 1/3 cup (60g) brown or raw sugar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons (30g) cocoa powder
    • 1 1/2 cups (190g) self raising flour
    • 60g crushed Weet-Bix(TM)

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min 

    1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
    2. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl to form a stiff mixture. Roll into balls and put on a baking tray. Slightly flatten with a fork.
    3. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Allow to cool then ice with chocolate icing.


    You can also make into a slice by pressing dough into a greased baking tin.
