This home made soup has kumara, carrots, red capsicum, garlic, mixed herbs, chilli powder, garam masala, butter, cream and vegetable stock, simmered then pureed.
I prefer to use thickened cream (this is why I use such a small quantity) but you can use the type you are most keen on.
I didnt have a carrot so used more home grown small red capsicum . I used fat reduced condensed milk , half a cup , instead of cream . A satisfying light supper with some crusty bread . - 12 Jan 2016
Really easy to make. Delicious with or without the cream, the cream changes the taste completely. I would tend to make it on the spicy side, but the cream will make it palatable for people who prefer a milder taste. - 17 Dec 2013 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
Gorgeous! So, so easy to make and just gorgeous! We didn't add any chilli or garam masala so it was lovely and creamy. My partner calls it 'magic soup' :-) - 04 Jan 2015 (Review from Allrecipes UK & Ireland)
