Gruyere Sausage Rolls

    These Gruyere sausage rolls are quick and easy to make. Wrapped up Dijon dipped pork sausages with ready rolled puff pastry then sprinkled with Gruyere cheese.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 12 

    • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 6 pork sausages
    • 1 tablespoon Gruyere cheese, grated

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Grease or line a baking tray with baking paper.
    2. Lay out the pastry on a flat surface. Cut out into 6 equal pieces. Roll out a little, if necessary, to create a piece that is large enough to wrap one sausage. Spread mustard onto each pastry piece and roll around one sausage. Seal and gently press with a fork. Repeat.
    3. Cut the sausage rolls into 1-2cm thick pieces. Place onto prepared tray. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until the pastry is puffy and golden. Leave to cool for a little while before serving.
