Best Ever Dairy Free Brownies

    These brownies are dairy free and have a cake like consistency. I'm not a fan of the ones that are still gooey in the middle so I was quite delighted when I perfected this recipe.

    Serves: 6 

    • 1/2 cup plain flour, sifted
    • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
    • 1/2 cup cocoa powder, sifted
    • 150g Nuttelex original margerine spread
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1. preheat oven to 200 degrees C and line a brownie pan with baking paper.
    2. In a medium or large mixing bowl cream butter and sugar until light and smooth.
    3. Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time on low speed.
    4. Mix through sifted flour and cocoa powder.
    5. Pour into prepared pan and smooth over evenly making sure all corners are filled.
    6. Bake at 200 degrees C for 25-35 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.


    Serve warm with chocolate icing or soy ice-cream.
