    When you think of tandoori you probably think of chicken but the yoghurt marinade works equally well with fish.

    Serves: 2 

    • 1/3 cup nonfat yoghurt
    • 3cm fresh ginger, minced
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 2 teaspoons tandoori masala spice
    • 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
    • salt to taste
    • 400g boneless and skinless salmon
    • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
    • 1 sprig coriander
    • 4 teaspoons lemon juice

    1. Place yoghurt, ginger, garlic, tandoori masala, red chili powder and salt in a bowl and mix well.
    2. Place the salmon in the above mixture and let it marinate for 30 minutes.
    3. Heat oil in a frypan on medium heat. Add the salmon, turn heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Flip the salmon and cook for 15 more minutes. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve garnished with coriander.
