A breakfast favourite and kids love these. No need to feel left out if you are gluten and/or dairy free. These easy to create waffles go with fruit, maple syrup or dairy-free ice cream.
In a mixing bowl, with an electric beater, beat the margarine, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. One at a time, beat in the egg yolks.
In a separate bowl, electic beat the egg whites until soft peaks begin to form. Fold into the maragine and suger mixture. Gently fold the sifted flours and baking powder, and water. DO NOT OVERMIX.
On a preheat waffle iron, spray with cooking oil and then pour 1/2 cup of batter, close the waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Continue until all the batter is cooked.
