This super fast and easy side dish is just asparagus, lemon juice, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese, sautéed in a wee bit of oil then served. Yummy veggie side.

Serves: 4 

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 230g fresh asparagus
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook and stir the asparagus in the hot oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Pour in the lemon juice then season to taste with salt and pepper. Place the asparagus into a serving dish then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to serve.
