These pork chops are marinated in an Asian inspired marinade of soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cumin and chilli paste then barbecued for a few minutes a side.

    Serves: 6

    • 1 cup (250ml) soy sauce
    • 1/2 cup (150g) brown sugar
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
    • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
    • 1 tablespoon chilli paste
    • 6 pork chops

    Preparation:10min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:25min

    1. Place the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, cumin and chilli paste in a large, heavy snap lock bag. Smush the bag a few times with your fingers to mix all the ingredients thoroughly and dissolve the brown sugar. Place the pork chops into the marinade and seal the bag. Allow to marinate for 30 to 45 minutes.
    2. Preheat a barbecue for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
    3. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard the marinade. Shake off excess marinade and barbecue the pork chops until browned and the meat is no longer pink in the centre, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.

Excellent recipe. Great flavors and very easy to make. Make sure to not over cook these chops, they don't take long to cook at all. - 20 Sep 2015
