This Kiwi treat is everywhere in NZ, made from malt biscuits and fruit puffs. Finding it in the Cook Islands or in Australia is a bit more tough.
250g malt biscuits, crushed
200g sweetened condensed milk
180g fruit puffs, chopped
Extra time:2hours chilling ›
- Mix together butter, biscuits, milk and puffs.
- Shape into a log then roll in coconut.
- Place in fridge until firm. Cut into rounds.
You can use Eskimo lollies instead of fruit puffs if you like.
