Chicken and Beef Lasagna

    my kids hate just a straight beef lasagna so i thought one day i woundered if they would eat it with chicken as well and add more to it

    Serves: 8 

    • 1 stalk celery chopped fine
    • 1 brown onion large chopped fine
    • 2 Medium carrots chopped fine
    • 1kg Chicken Mince
    • 1.5 kg Beef Mince
    • 3 Cups mixed Chedder cheese and pizza cheese
    • 2 jars Ragaletto classic romano and cheese sauce
    • 3/4 jar water shake to remove excess sauce from jars
    • 1/2 jar Bechemel sauce for top
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1pkt Fresh Lasagna Sheets

    1. Cook all chopped vegetables i use a vegetable salt mix a good pinch to season once cooked remove and set asside.
    2. Use a cooking spray put the 1.5kg beef mince keep the cooking over so it doesnt burn.Remove now cook chicken mince in repeat steps.Now add all cooked ingredients together.
    3. Now add the 2 jars of ragaletto classic ramano and cheese sauce now i fill one jar three quaters full of cold water and shake all the sauce from 2 jars and mix to combine.
    4. Turn the heat down and keep stirring until sauce lightly thickens. Next i use a large square dish i use a piece of papper towling and wipe margarine over the sides and base.remove from the heat allow meat and veg to cool down abit.
    5. Throw a couple of scoops of cooked meat and veg on base of dish then line base with fresh sheets lasagna and then meat and sheets again till you get to the top now spread cheese on top and drizzle bechemel sauce over the top put in oven now i have a very old oven and i put mine on 400f or 200c
    6. i cook it until cheese starts to brown on top
