    BEEF IN RICH RED SAUCE SERVED WITH FRIED PATOTOES OR PASTA.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 1.5 KILO BEEF CUT IN PIECES
    • 3 RED SOFT TOMATOES
    • 2 ONIONS
    • 1 HANDFULL PARSLEY
    • 1 GREEN PEPPER
    • 3 CLOVES
    • 2 PIECES OF GARLIC
    • 1 GRATED CARROT
    • 2 TBS TOMATO PASTE
    • 1 WINE GLASS OLIVE OIL
    • 2 ΤBS SALT
    • 1 PINCH BLACK PEPPER
    • 1 GLASS WATER
    • 7-8 POTATOES
    • 1 CUP GRATED GOATS CHEESE

    1. AFTER WE RINSE OUR MEAT WE BOIL IT UNTIL IT FOAMS.
    2. WE WASH AND CUT OUR VEGETABLES AND WE SIMMER IN A POT WITH THE OIL. BEFORE THEY BECOME GOLDEN BROWN WE ADD THE MEAT.WE ADD THE TOMATOES AND MIX WITH ALL THE INGREDIENTS.
    3. STIR WITH A WOODEN SPOON THEN ADD YOUR SALT, PEPPER, CLOVES.ADD THE TOMATO PASTE A GLASS OF WATER AND LEAVE TO BOIL.
    4. WHILE OUR MEAT IS COOKING ON A LOW FIRE WE PEEL THE POTATOES AND FRY THEM 15 MINUTES BEFORE THE MEAT IS READY.
    5. MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT YOUR MEAT.IF IT NEEDS MORE WATER JUST ADD A LITTLE. IT DEPENDS ON THE POT YOU USE. IF WE DON'T USE A PRESSURE COOKER IT NEEDS AT LEAST AN 1.5 TO COOK AND GET THE MEAT SOFT. IF WE ARE USING A STEAMER ONLY LEAVE IT FOR 25 MINUTES.WHEN OUR MEAT IS READY IT SHOULD HAVE A THICK RED SAUCE AND THE BEEF SHOULD BE NICE AND SOFT.
    6. WE FRY OUR PATOTOES.

    Serving suggestion

    WE CAN SERVE THE MEAT ON TOP OF THE PATOTOES AND ADD THE CHEESE.
