laab (spicy and sour) gai (chicken)....

    Thai Spicy and sour salad with chicken or you can have beef or pork. Its quick easy and so so tasty!!!

    Serves: 1 

    • Red chilly chopped
    • corriander leaf
    • mint leaf
    • 2 Spring onion chopped
    • 2 tbl spoon Fish sauce
    • Lime juice
    • rice powder (toast rice and smash it up)
    • 1 breast chicken
    • chilly powder
    • 1 small tbl spoon sugar

    1. OK, i'm not going to put most qty's on here. If you like it HOT use more chillys if not use less. Not into corriander, dont use so much. its upto you really =)
    2. Chop up chicken breast. Dont be all neat and tidy, chop it up like you would herbs. put it on the chpping board and go to town!! squirt lime juice over chicken and set aside.
    3. Add chilly, corriander, mint, spring onion, fish sauce, lime juice and sugar into a mixing bowl.. add a little rice powder (put raw rice into a dry pan and toast it untill it starts to go brown. then smash it to a powder)
    4. Put a bit of water into pan and add chicken. enough water to cook the chicken so when chicken is ready (a couple minutes)most of the water has gone. if water remains, just seperate the water and chicken...
    5. Add ckicken to marinade and mix..
    6. All done!! serve with crunchy cabbage leafe and cucumber. rice if you like..
