Alby's Gourmet Rissoles

    These tasty rissoles are great for cooking on a barbecue and a treat for your guests. You can make them ahead.

    Makes: 10 rissoles

    • 1/2 cup each peas, corn kernels, Parmesan cheese
    • 1 cup chopped shallots
    • 3 cloves fine chopped garlic
    • 500g beef mince
    • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
    • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    • 1 large egg, slighty beaten

    Preparation:30min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Extra time:1hour chilling  ›  Ready in:2hours 

    1. Mix all ingredients well in large bowl and place in fridge for an hour.
    2. Remove from fridge and form tablespoons of mixture into round balls then roll in flour and flatten into hamburger shapes. Place on tray covered with baking paper.
    3. Place back in fridge until ready to cook. I cook rissoles on medium heat for around 10 minutes each side so as to cook then right through. Check them a couple of times while cooking. Enjoy.

    really tasty but fell apart when cooked in the oven will make again though  -  28 Aug 2012
