Basil Prawns with Fettuccine

This is so simple to make, yet the simplicity gives it a unique appeal. To impress use green spinach fettuccine and garnish with a small basil sprig.

Serves: 4 

  • 500g of shelled and deveined prawns
  • 180g fettuccine
  • 2 teaspoons diced basil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Prepare the fettuccine as per the packet instructions.
  2. Cook the prawns in a large frypan with the butter and basil until cooked through and no longer pink.
  3. Serve directly to the individual serving plates with a layer of fettuccine then top with the prawns.
