    This is a great, quick recipe sure to please the family. Serve with some crusty garlic bread, or simple breadsticks.

    Serves: 6 

    • 340g ziti or penne pasta
    • 2 tablespoons pesto
    • 730g jar tomato basil pasta sauce
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 cup (40g) Parmesan cheese, grated

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to the boil. Add pasta, and cook until al dente; about 8 minutes. Drain.
    2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium-low heat, mix together the pesto and basil tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer and season with salt to taste.
    3. Place pasta in a large serving bowl. Toss with pesto-tomato sauce. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
