Mixed Seafood Stew

This is a stew which originated in San Francisco called cioppino. It's wonderful served with crusty bread for mopping up the lovely juices.

I love this receipe because it's so flexible. Almost any seafood works so buy what's on sale! I like it a little spicier so add hot sauce but don't be afraid to play with the ingredients.

This recipe was awesome! My hubby loves Cioppino and always orders it when we eat by the wharf in SF. He said this was just as good as any restaurant. I gave it only 3 stars for quickness, because cooking it longer made it better. I cooked it for about 4 hours before I added the fish. Can't wait to make it again!
