Yummy - and quick - moist potato pie with onion and cheese.


Serves: 4 

  • 1 x 23cm pie shell
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 medium onions, diced
  • 1 cup (155g) grated cheddar cheese

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

  1. Boil potatoes until the potatoes are soft . Fry the onion in a small amount of oil till transparent.
  2. To assemble: layer 1/3 of cheese in bottom of pie shell, followed by the potatoes, another third of cheese, then the onion.
  3. Top with remaining cheese and cook in a pre heated oven at 175 degrees C for roughly half an hour or until pie starts to brown.
