Although I make this with egg noodles it works just as well with pasta. It's very quick and easy to make.

    Serves: 5

    • 500g egg noodles
    • 1 (400g) tin condensed cream of mushroom soup
    • 1 cup cubed processed cheese
    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1/4 cup (65ml) milk
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:12min  ›  Ready in:17min

    1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
    2. In large saucepan over medium heat, combine mushroom soup, processed cheese, butter, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir until cheese is melted. Stir in noodles and heat through.

My family doesn't care for mushrooms, so I substituted a can of cream of chicken soup. Tasted great!  -  19 Nov 2007  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

This dish was very simple and tasty enough. I used shredded colby jack because that's what I had on hand, so I had to double the milk to keep the sauce from turning into paste. Definitely had to add plenty of salt and pepper to taste, and I added some veggies to give it a healthy kick. Would make again anytime.  -  09 Jan 2010  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

I mixed in cubed, boneless chicken, and it made the perfect dinner meal.  -  26 Sep 2000  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
