These are incredibly easy thin biscuits. They spread out a little when cooking so make sure they're far enough apart on the baking trays.


Serves: 40 

  • 125g butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup (90g) plain flour

Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C. Grease baking trays.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Separate the egg and reserve the egg white. Beat the egg yolk into the mixture. Mix in the flour. Beat the egg white until is stands in peaks. Cut it into the dough. Drop by teaspoonfuls on baking trays.
  3. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until edges are golden.
