Steak and Capsicum Salad

    This steak salad is perfect as a side dish or on its own for a light meal. The steaks may also be pan fried if you prefer.

    Serves: 2 

    • 500g sirloin steaks
    • 2 cups chopped cos lettuce
    • 1/2 small red onion, chopped
    • 1/2 small green capsicum, chopped
    • 1 small tomato, diced
    • 1/2 cup creamy Ranch salad dressing

    1. Preheat barbecue for high heat.
    2. In a bowl, toss together the lettuce, onion, capsicum, tomato and dressing.
    3. Lightly barbecue grate. Place steak on bbq and cook 5 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. Cut into strips and arrange over the salad to serve.
