There's no need to melt cheese on the top of these burgers because it is mixed into the patty. Serve on buns with your favourite condiments.


Serves: 6 

  • 1 kg beef mince
  • 1 egg
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce

Preparation:15min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:25min 

  1. Preheat bbq for high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the beef mince, egg, onion, Cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce using your hand. Form into 6 large patties.
  3. Place patties on the bbq and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done.
