Spaghetti Frypan Dinner

Here's a super easy family dinner when you don't feel like cooking anything more elaborate. Serve with crusty bread.


Serves: 5 

  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green capsicums
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (800g) tin whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
  • 350g spaghetti, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup (250ml) water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 120g grated mozzarella cheese

  1. In a frypan over medium heat, brown the beef mince with onions until no pink shows on the beef; drain. Mix in green capsicum and mushrooms and cook for a few minutes. Add tomatoes with juice, spaghetti and water; stir. Add Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook about 15 minutes or until spaghetti is tender, stirring occasionally. Add cheese and stir until melted.
