    This is a family favourite - a super easy side dish of rice and risoni pasta simmered together. We serve it with chicken.

    Serves: 5 

    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 1/2 cup (100g) uncooked risoni pasta
    • 1/2 cup (90g) long-grain white rice
    • 1 chicken stock cube
    • 2 cups (500ml) water

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:25min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add risoni and brown until golden.
    2. Add rice, stock cube and water; bring to a boil, cover and lower heat to medium-low.
    3. Simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed; serve.
