    A traditional Reuben sandwich uses Swiss cheese, but my take uses mozzarella which I find a bit tastier.

    Serves: 1 

    • 2 slices rye bread
    • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
    • 60g thinly sliced corned beef
    • 60g sauerkraut
    • 1 slice mozzarella cheese

    Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:5min  ›  Ready in:10min 

    1. Heat medium frypan over medium heat. Butter bread on one side. Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in frypan. Layer corned beef, sauerkraut and mozzarella on bread. Top with remaining slice of bread. Cook, turning once, until bread is browned, sandwich is heated through and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
