Ham and Cheese Pasta

I had nothing in the fridge when I made this so I was very happy with how well it came out. It's my favourite quick lunch now.


Serves: 4 

  • 450g spiral pasta
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese, diced
  • 8 slices ham, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Preparation:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta, and cook for 8 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the oil in a small frypan over medium-high heat. Fry the ham in the oil until browned, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and set aside. When the pasta is done and drained, mix in the ham and Swiss cheese until cheese is melted.
