    These are my favourite chocolate chip biscuits which are made extra special with pumpkin and walnuts.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 18 

    • 1 cup tinned pumpkin
    • 1 cup (200g) white sugar
    • 1/2 cup (125ml) vegetable oil
    • 1 egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    • 2 cups (250g) plain flour
    • 2 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
    • 1 teaspoon milk
    • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
    • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

    Directions
    Preparation:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees C.
    2. Mix in a large bowl, pumpkin, sugar, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla. Blend well.
    3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and bicarb soda. Stir into pumpkin mixture, add the milk. Blend well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
    4. Use teaspoon to drop biscuits on baking tray. Bake 8 - 10 minutes.
