Homemade Semolina Pasta

It's fun to make your own fresh pasta. Keep in mind that it will cook much faster than dried, about 2 minutes.

Mr. Flour 1

Serves: 4 

  • 2 cups (250g) semolina flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) warm water
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation:25min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:35min 

  1. Mix together flour, salt and baking powder. Add warm water and butter; knead dough until stiff. Let rest a few minutes. Roll into a ball and divide into four. Roll out one of the balls at a time to 2mm thickness. Cut into thin strips. Let dry for 1 to 3 hours on flat surface.
