    This is a wonderful sweet and sour dish which isn't quite a hamburger. It's native to the coal towns of Pennsylvania.

    Serves: 8 

    • 500g beef mince
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
    • 3/4 cup tomato pasta sauce
    • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
    • 6 hamburger buns

    1. Crumble the beef mince in a large frypan over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir until meat is no longer pink. Drain excess grease and stir in the vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, tomato pasta sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes. Serve on buns.
