    45 minutes

Delicious peanut butter and chocolate bars made with cornflakes. Great for cake stalls, and easy enough for kids to make.

very good - the kids all gobbled them up and asked for more. VERY easy to make. If yours got hard, it's because you let the sugar/syrup boil too long. Once it comes to a boil, take it off of the heat (the peanut butter still mixes nicely). My nephew said this is better than a Butterfinger. I might like a little more cornflake in it - I will use more cornflakes next time to test. Fun, easy, and good.  -  15 Aug 2002  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

These are awesome!! I made 2 batches. The first one, I went by the recipe, the second, I used 1/3 cup of the corn syrup and 2/3 cup of powdered sugar with just a dash of vanilla. They came out deliciously, chewy, oowie good!  -  13 Mar 2007  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)

These were easy to make, but you gotta love peanut butter. They didn't really taste like Butterfingers to me and did not go over well with my six and four year olds.  -  08 Oct 2001  (Review from Allrecipes USA and Canada)
