Pepperoni and Beef Pasta Bake

This is a basic pasta bake recipe that never fails to satisfy a hungry family! Serve with a green salad and fresh bread.


Serves: 15 

  • 500g dry spiral pasta
  • 750g lean beef mince
  • 2 green capsicums, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 1/3 kg tomato pasta sauce
  • 125g pepperoni, sliced
  • 2 cups (250g) grated Italian cheese blend

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C.
  2. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  3. In a frypan over medium heat, brown the beef mince until no pink shows; drain.
  4. Combine in a 20x30cm casserole dish: pasta, beef mince, capsicum, onion, tomato sauce and pepperoni; blend well. Top with grated cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until cheese is melted and casserole is heated through.
