Cranberry Almond Punch

    This is the drink I always make for my kids birthday parties, but you'll be surprised by how much adults love it too!

    Serves: 24 

    • 4 cups (1 litre) cranberry juice
    • 4 cups (1 litre) pineapple juice
    • 300g caster sugar
    • 1 teaspoon almond extract
    • 4 cups (1 litre) ginger ale

    1. In a large punch bowl combine cranberry juice, pineapple juice and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add almond extract and pour in the ginger ale.

    Altered ingredient amounts. Great punch!!! Made for a bridal shower with 23 guests and needed 2 batches. The almond flavour is very good. On second batch I only added one cup of sugar because that was all I had left and it still tasted great. Will only add one cup next time just to cut back on the sugar content. Received lots of positive comments on the punch and my husband asked me to make more the next day with the leftover ingredients. Thanks!!  -  29 Sep 2008


    Made this for Christmas a few years ago, and it disappeared faster than I could mix up more. Made it without the almond extract after I ran out, and it still tasted awesome. Give this punch a try, you will not be disappointed!  -  29 Sep 2008
