This recipe makes a lovely coffee-chocolate glaze for a cake. The quantities given here make enough for one 20cm layer cake.
1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup (65ml) strong hot brewed coffee
3 cups (500g) icing sugar
85g melted butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/4 cup (30g) chopped walnuts

Combine coffee and cocoa in small bowl of electric mixer. Beat until blended. Add sugar, butter or margarine, salt and vanilla. Beat until blended. Scrape bowl and beat icing until it has a spreading consistency.
Ice the cake and sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
